I have failed in my attempt as a blogger. I convinced myself that I didn't have the time to sit and type my musings in order for people I don't know to put me under a microscope and attempt to dissect me. I told myself that I don't need it. Well, I was wrong.....again! So here I am putting myself out there again pleading with my followers to take me back and forgive me for my neglectful ways.
I'm heading to a women's conference this weekend with the ladies from my church. Truth be told I don't know them all that well, but they seem quite nice. And I was told this event was not to be missed.
We are to leave in 2.5 hours and I have yet to pack. Perhaps I should be doing that instead of writing this, but I just couldn't help myself. When I'm away this weekend I'll be leaving behind my husband and 5 year old boy. Please agree with me in prayer that my house will still be standing when I arrive home on Sunday!
Seriously, I am looking forward to a time of refreshing and relflection. I love my boys with all that is in me, but this mama needs a break.
I intend to come back Sunday with a fresh new perspective and hopefully some inspiration, which I will be only too happy to pass on to my readers. So, for now I leave you with well wishes for a wonderful weekend. Now, I should go pack. Has anyone seen my toothbrush?
